I bought GW2 around launch and played a lot for a few months, then just kind of stopped… Couldn’t say why. Now I’m interested again, but I found my account has all these exploration progress and achievements already completed partially or completely, and was hoping there might be some way to reset all that, as it all happened so long ago for me it is forgotten, and I actually like working through the achievements. I have tried the game with a few different classes, but after reading the forums, I may be picking the harder ones (Mesmer, elementalist, etc)

Anyway, I find myself not really enjoying the random “help farmers with their stuff” quests around the human starting zone, and even when I force myself to do them, am finding myself underleveled.

I really want to like the game, and at times it is a lot of fun. I like the story quest, but every time I start to get into it I find I need to stop everything and grind out a couple levels again.

Are there other ways to level besides the area quests? I haven’t really looked at pvp yet, for example. I feel like even when I make it a point to do every area quest, I still am not as high level as I should be for the next story quest. Any suggestions? Thanks much for your insights!
