Every night, we go through the same reset rat race with the WVW. I cannot get in on the initial que. I spam join when the world is unavailable, until instantly, I get a message that it is “full”.

I que, wait, and if I get a disconnect of any kind, Que place is lost. I have literally played numerous nights where I never can join WVW despite queing at 7 and playing over the next 4.5 hours.

Sometimes, I never get in the que with no disconnect. I cannot imagine Ques are this bad unless there is something being exploited or a bunch of people that afk in it.

Any advice on how to get in the que?

Anyone know the population mechanics for the game?

I have spent several nights in the Que for 3+ hours and never gotten in WVW.

Generally, when I have gotten in, it’s 5 min before a reset- and despite spamming the “Que” options – I instantly find myself in another que that just never pops.

The few times I have been in, the populations in a WVW realm does not seem load balanced at all. My understanding is that each zone is capped at 500 players, for a total of 2000 max in WVW. But it wasn’t clear or didn’t indicate that each server has a set # reserved for their side.

If that’s the case, it would explain why I have seen lopsided participation at times. I’ve been on both ends of it, where we have had more population and likewise also been outnumbered.

If it does allow for unbalanced populations, it would explain why we are seeing very lopsided wins. And 1 server is not dominating another – I think every server has seen overwelming wins.

All that said – can someone explain the mechanics for the WVW ques and why some people can “live” in it, yet I cannot ever get a que to pop for me.
