While doing the Bria event, I noticed that one of the Displaced Spirits has been… displaced. Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.
Don’t worry, this happens with more serious things too. For example, if you have a set of Runes of Perplexity and a Thief hits you with Basilisk Venom while you’re casting, you apply 5 stacks of confusion to yourself.
It seems this is more serious bug than I initially thought it to be.
Now, imagine Elementalist walking on lava.
When you suffer from “environmental damage”, from, let’s say, walking on lava, you get the proper condition (in this case, burning). And you are the source of said condition. In other words, when you step in lava, you burn yourself. That’s how game works, at least from what I’ve seen. That’s fine. No problem there.
Now, description for Elementalist’s Grandmaster trait, Blinding Ashes, clearly says: “Blind foes that you burn.”
Foes.
And yet, when you step into the lava (while being Elementalist and having this trait, of course) you Blind yourself!
Now, although this is far from crucial, it’s still a bug and my petty mind wants it fixed.
Could you make it so that you don’t Blind yourself?
And while we’re at it, does stuff that increase Burning duration, for example Sigil of Smoldering, also applies in this situation?
At very least, ANet should change the description, make it say “Blind targets that you burn.”
My thief has pistol in main and empty off hand. Instead of getting [Repeater] at slot 3, i get abilities from dagger-offhand.
It might be worth noting that I, indeed, have off-hand dagger in other weapon slot.
I tried swapping, re-logging, and re-equipping weapons. I still have dagger abilities, while not wearing a dagger!
Also, for example, when I wield only pistol (in off-hand) i get abilities, like that I have main-hand dagger. Something is amiss.
