Always a pleasure to meet FSP, i still remember when in the past match up 4 of you (was it Punk, can’t remember) ninja’ed our T3 bay.
I’m roaming a bit now and had several exciting 1v1 1v2, took and gave bags with no regrets.

Some fights with the other server, some good, some bad.
1v4 NoX, at least 3 thief, i manage to down 2 of em and at the end got killed because, well, pretty hard to finish 3 thieves with their stealth res.
One of them keep jumping on my corpse, i think because he couldn’t accept the fact he couldnt insta gib me and was mad with himself. I can’t find any other explanation. Really.

GH and UW had 3 match ups in last weeks. If i remember correct GH have won the 2 of them, so get back in your holes please.

Too bad any match up thread, no matter the servers, are getting pretty much about the same stuff.

To the GH engineer i fought a min ago near briar in UW:

…too bad you kept attacking after i bowed to you and stopped attacking…and brought your 4 friends to finish me off. But the fight was nice, kudos.

Anyway, i had fun so far, yesterday around 0.00-1.00 we tried to take RoF bay with our guild party of 8-10 and almost succeeded for 2 times. Almost. We capped couple of towers and went to bed after the 2nd bay wipe. It was cool to see some members who usually do pve join us in the borderlands.

I do believe this thread is going nowhere and it was easy to tell judging from the first ten posts. I don’t like the attitude of some of my fellow gunnars. I don’t like boasting and mocking the opponents. On the other hand we received a lot of flame and blame for things that some people don’t find “fair” according to their personal preferences.

As usual, the actual wvwers are better than the forum wvwers, but this happens in almost every thread, nothing new to see here.
For what i saw GH is a better wvw server as a whole: better coverage through the 24h period and more wvw focused guilds with good numbers than UW, better coordination on the enemy borders.

I’m not really impressed by the fights we had in open field tho, most of the times (i’ve been on mostly on prime time) we wiped you or forced you to retreat.
And the zergs i was in were almost always 40% guilds on ts and 60% pugs (on average, i think the pugs always greatly outnumber the organized guilds in the zerg).
Note, i’m not talking about 50vs20 fights, where the outcome is obvious, but when the numbers were close.

Also, UW as stated before, is high pops PVE server, every time a patch hits all the borders are almost empty. No matter the score. Lots of people and cmds on vacation/holidays, but i guess it’s the same on your end.

At the end i enjoyed the match up, discovered some sneaky place where your mesmers were hiding, took bags, gave bags. I also think GH will gain some more positions in the future; imho quite a bit stronger than FSP but definitely a lot weaker than, let’s say, Augury Rock (man, were they hard!)

I want to congratulate the 5 guys from FSP who took UW bay 5 min ago.
Gz also on the entire UW border for the complete lack of reaction for 5 min since the 1st request of help in bay.

Rant aside, good match up and good fights on all borders so far!
