Guild Wars 2

Greetings Gents & Gentle…lady….creature….things,

You guys can call me Masa, short for Masamune in reference to Date Masamune not to be confused with the early settlement poor English pronunciation of “Master”. ANYWAY I’m both new to the forums and NEW TO GUILD WARS all together. I’ve recently gained my passion for MMO’s back and have been drifting from site to site looking for something that may spark my interest. Needless to say I stumbled across GW a few days ago and after a few hours of questing, playing with different professions and watching multiple videos on GW2 I’ve decided to take up arms and join the battle.

Here’s a little about me, I’m a sarcastic a*hole, located in North Carolina so that’s Eastern Time, when not in class (21 y/o college kid) or at work, I spend the majority of my time bouncing to and from the gym and playing video games (mostly RPG’s with the occasional sports title). My MMO history started out back on the PC first with Runescape, from there I moved on to EQOA for the Playstation, a few toons from City of Heroes, and finally earning the majority of my seasoning from the notoriously hated World of Warcraft. For the most part, I enjoy taking DPS roles, mainly because I like killing…..a lot …..but that’s beside the point. I have experience with playing most rogue and mage toons for DPS but when required to tank I’m not afraid to take arms and head the point with a warrior/paladin/guardian. Yes, I do know that GW2 will be doing away with the traditional holy trinity set up, however, without having THAT much experience with GW I can only express my history with simple terms so we all know what I’m referencing.

I enjoy partaking in PvE, PvP, Pv A- freaking Z, anything that allows me to kill something I’m game, not too big on the crafting side of MMO’s and never have been big on building trades, aside from those that were profitable via Auction Houses. As previously stated I am new to the GW universe, however, I pick up on the mechanics of games easily and enjoy diving head firsts into situations that will most likely end in my toon lying in a puddle of its own blood, only to come out with a few scratches and bruises!
