Same thing happend to me, was fighting Karka for 2.5 hours and game then startet to lagg but i could still play, and then suddenly everyone stoped moving and got dc, when i log back in 10 mins afte ( ofc game wouldnt let me in ) event was over and i was left empty handed, no loot no chest … nothing
