So
1: I’ll admit the backpack looks a little nicer with that effect
2:While i do see an effect on the old staff the new one looks like Q-Bert blocks are coming off of it.
3. Is that what the sword looks like for everyone else? Because it used to look the same as it did sheathed, it just lit up like a glow stick.

Did you recently change your graphic settings or hardware? I did not notice a change. When the wepons are sheathed they are ‘inactive’ and smooth as you describe and when you wield them they have the pixelated effect.

My Super Sword has always been this way.

No same hardware same settings as day 1, the skins used to glow when I unsheathed them but never had this “phasing” effect. And it just started happening after this update.(though i took a little break during the invasion living story)

Why did they add a crappy De-Rez fizzle effect on the weapons? I really liked the skins for their nice CLEAN look, i liked them so much in fact that i got all of them… (aside from the two bow skins) twice. Yep i bought them twice so i could use them in pvp and in the main game and now they all look awful. It took me 20 hours and 10 gold to get all the skins. And last week my 20 gold MF armor became pretty much useless so i’m starting to wonder if i should even bother trying to get nice stuff in this game.
