Guild Wars 2

I started to get this issue last night just after the patch dropped, and I assumed it was just a by-product of the servers getting pounded with everyone trying to download the patch at once. But I loaded it up this morning and I’m still getting the issue.

My download speed keeps dropping to 0.00 KB/sec, and then not going back up until I reboot the patcher. It seems to be doing this randomly. Sometimes it downloads as little as 10KB before the download stops, other times it’ll download as much as 90MB. It’s usually on the low side though, usually somewhere below 10MB.

I don’t have the best internet connection in the world, but it seems fine doing everything else. I have downloaded files through my browser just fine, it seems most likely to be an issue with the GW2 patcher itself.

EDIT: I’ve got to the point where I have 626 files remaining, and now it drops at 6KB every single time.

I’m based in the UK but playing on a US server (Yak’s Bend), and I’m still getting the error.
