I have also re-downloaded the client, and overwritten all my previous files. Still no luck. This is quite awful, actually. Same error message, unable to even login. Please help.
Using the correct username and password, I am unable to login to my Guild Wars 2 account through the client home-screen. I receive an error message that states:
“The account name or password you entered is invalid. Please check your information and try again.
Build: 16597
Error Code: 11:1001:2:1298"
I even “recovered my account” and everything, changed my password twice and deleted the Guild Wars 2 Application Support folder in the “Library” tab of the Finder. This whole mess began immediately after I DLed the newest update. Reboot has failed to resolve the issue as well, and I am certain I have typed the correct username and password every single time (same info I’m using to sign into the forum).
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
