Thanks for the reply, but that hasn’t fixed the problem unfortunately. Is there any other ideas on how to correct the issue? Thanks

Ps. With the problem yesterday, I assume it finished the download and then stopped working. Gw2 then says to check my net connection but I can open up web pages on the same comp.

Hello guys and girls, as you can guess from the title I may need some serious help!! Ok, I downloaded the installer and signed in to download on my pc (laptop charger broke) and once it gets to a certain percentage the following message appears from avg:

Assetcdn.101.arenanetworks.com/program/101/1/0/310088/compressed

Virus found win32/pepatch

The process name is directed at the target location for the download. The same happened yesterday and when I deleted the download the messages stopped coming. It’s only when I open GW2. I run an avg scan and it doesn’t seem to find any problems now although yesterday it isolated 2 of the game files and I removed them along with all the other gw2 files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
