I’m glad I wasn’t the only one confused by the mastery panel…

Perhaps either a quick tutorial/mission or better hints on the panel would be useful.

Good quick review and I agree with most (if not all) of what you say.

I would recommend they put some kind of mastery tutorial into the mix. The first inkling I had that they existed was when I got awarded a master point but didn’t know what to do with it. Then was a bit confused when I came across the magic jumping mushrooms…

Events to defend the rally point were pretty much suicidal. No breathing space between assaults and trying to get Pact Soldiers with supplies from origin to rally point were an exercise in futility.

Agree it was a bit of a learning curve with the Revenant, but I quickly settled into the play style. I really like it.

Not a fan of Revenant...

I found it interesting and fun to play, while realizing that it is still in beta and will need some minor refinements to make it an excellent new addition to my stable. I’m assuming that it will have 5 trait lines like all the others once published (there were only 3 available for the first beta).

Hammer has some great choices for attacks and I really warmed to it over the two hours. Mace/Axe combo not so much. Mace seemed to require too much wind up for a couple of attacks and overall had lower damage than hammer.

It is nice to see those two weapons getting a little use as I’ve tried and discarded them with my Warriors and Guardians…

Overall, I’m looking forward to creating and playing one when HoT is released.
