“raids” in general in the MMO world have a long-standing bad reputation (a lot of it deserved), and so bringing raids to GW2 carries a lot of baggage.

Also, a lot of people specifically liked this game because it avoided the “raid or get out” mentality of many big-name MMOs.

Because Hard things are hard.

Hyper Cutter is pretty spot on about the about people liking this game because there are no raids. I really miss the Guild Wars 1 Underworld and Fissure of Woe.

I know some of my friends that were the most loyal players left because of lack of content. I heard they didn’t make new dungeons because stats showed not many people run them, but I would have loved to seen a few new dungeons. Honestly for the price of the expansion I was kind of of expecting the same amount of content as the original game and it was not there.

There are a lot of good games that came out/are coming out that, unless anet makes new content that is attractive to existing and former players, I see more people moving to. I don’t play GW2 very much honestly and couldn’t get that into the expansion either, but there’s a soft place in my heart for this game and the community.

I really hope anet can create some content that gets people excited again because I honestly think this game still has great potential to expand on what it created.

I haven’t played GW2 regularly for more then a year.. I didn’t get in to the Living Story all that much and got burned out on Fractals. My friends from work though pretty much played every night up until about 2 months ago. I honestly never thought they would stop playing, but even they said without new content they were getting bored. I understand they can’t doing anymore more living story, but even a new Super Adventure Box, maybe a replay of a past event. I know these guys would be back for that.

I might not play this game very much, but that doesn’t mean I still don’t love it. I honestly can’t wait for the expansion to come out and I know my friends will be back once it comes out. We read and watch all the updates, but if you told a couple months back that these guys wouldn’t be playing very much I wouldn’t have believed you. They just need to throw the current players something different.

I’m sure this has been brought up before, but I would really like to see a party search feature like the one put in Guild Wars 1. That system worked acrossed the districts in a town. If it was the same system that worked across servers it would open the amount of people to play every aspect of the game with.

Some of the best groups I have found have been in an overflow with people from other servers. When I can’t get in to an overflow that makes it tougher to find groups.

I want to check before I buy it, but can you also change your in game name?

I hope when they make this they add a feature to change your name. I put my favorite name on a profession I don’t enjoy playing. The one I do enjoy playing is way to far along to delete just to rename.

Yup just tryed it again this second same thing. Anything transmuted doesn’t dye when I close the dye window. Strange

Are we not able to dye transmutated armor? I transmuted 2 peices of my armor with the order armor skin and noticed I can’t dye it. While I’m in the dye screen it shows the color change, but when I close the window only the non-transmuted peices (also order armor) are dyed. Wasn’t if this is how it’s supposed to work or if it’s just a bug.
