Please for the love of goodness change them back, they sound horrible now. They don’t sound remotely like a horn.
This is clearly one of the best gaming communities. There is however a trend in the community that causes us to miss out on one of the great things about Guild Wars 2.
Modularity. The ability to change traits/armor and weapons(stats)/weapons runes/sigils. The ‘serker nuke’ trend of wanting to speed through to completion makes us miss out on the ability to do things a variety of ways that could be very fun. ‘Optimization’ may be ideal for pvp/wvw but, when it spills out into the pve world we short change ourslelves.
There’s a different way to optimize though through modularity. My guild is Blacksun Legion on Sea of Sorrows; in it we have War bands. The War bands are just a group that stick together when they want to complete some task (achieves, dungeons, etc.). We optimize through modularity. What I mean is we try to build in such a way that enhances everyone else in the partys’ damage and survivability. The result is a lot of fun, because no one every gets left behind in a dungeon while trying to skip everything, we kill all mobs with no problems because we use the functions built into the game to optimize as a group instead of an individual. It really doesn’t take much longer to do what it is you’re doing. In my opinion it’s better than trying to skip mobs or take other shortcuts.
I just wanted to post this to see if anyone else agrees this is more fun. I’d encourage others to try to think about the different ways they can build their characters. If you’re not, in my opinion you’re missing out on a fun part of the game.
For new players: SoS means that Blacksun Legion [BSL] is on the sea of sorrows server. If you’re interested in world vs world mostly, it’s very relevant as you can only participate with the server you belong to.
Hello,
I’ve been playing MMO’s since 2002 and am an officer in Blacksun Legion.
It’s hard to explain to people while playing and trying to invite them to the guild what they are missing by not joining.
We have a great group of people, friendly, helpful, diverse. I played this game for two years and the first nine months weren’t that great because I didn’t find the right guild.
When I joined [BSL], the game became as great as it can be. Dungeons, fractals, pvp, wvw, jumping puzzles, map completion, true exploration. We even occasionally pick a map and play hide and seek
We’re not a huge guild and we like it that way, we like social people but if ya wanna play alone for a bit, no ones gonna give you a hard time either.
Send me mail in-game or respond here if you’re interested. The right group of people makes all the difference in the world. Hope to hear form you soon.
Best of Luck,

Please post them in this thread if you come across any sort of bug that fits in the following categories:
- Inappropriate resemblance to female reproductive parts
General Guidelines:
-Take a screenshot of the issue (attached)
-Take a screenshot of your equipment on the Hero Panel (H) (attached)
- Norn, female, Mesmer
—If the issue relates to clothing/armor/weapons—
- Dire exalted pants transmuted to luminescent pants
- Crafted, earned via bandit crests in Silverwastes.
It is not minor, this is not trolling, its blatant and highly noticeable. Please don’t rage on someone for posting a concern, and thank you for the link.
I had submitted a ticket for this and the response was to post on forums for developers to see.
The luminescent light armor leggings on my Norn female are grossly inappropriate. It looks like she is wearing no underwear and there is even a line drawn that when skinned on most armor pieces appears as female parts.
I spent a good amount of time getting this armor, can you correct the design so that every 13 year old boy in the game isn’t staring at me please?
There’s no justification for the line being drawn the way it is, and you can’t tell me that was an accident…
When in a party and different players are stacking the same condition but have different condition damage, how is the damage calculated?
Is it calculated separately per player even though its ‘stacked’ or is it the average or something else?
Save pet names to the pet. Horribly annoying to reenter it every time I switch them for ones more effective for the situation I’m in.
