there’s a fix for this in “Unable to download GW2. Connection error.” The OCE servers are apparently bunked right now, all of our downloads freeze at 30% (1kb a sec).
Download tunnel bear https://www.tunnelbear.com/
download to 31% then kill the vpn and start your download again. Should be fine
Now if arenanet could fix whatever they did to their Amazon AWS servers….
Looks like Anet bunked something up aus wise xD
and Taubin was NZ as well so somethings gone wrong :P
Seems like it’s on there end, i’ve been grappling with this all weekend so far. Is everyone else here oceania? I’m from AUS and assume somethings gone wrong server side
