So here is my post on something i would like to see. Kit upgrades now i know we already have some decent kits, but imagine if anet created the option to transform a kit through traits. This would allow for specific kit builds to be more unique i think. I have posted before about this topic heres the break down
30 power build will still allow for the grenadier trait but swap out a trait that is very much unused to Rocket Kit upgrade allows your grenade kit to be transformed into a rocket kit. Make it around the same dps lower aoe effect slightly faster travel time with some lock on at least targeting the mob or player within its slight aoe range. Keep its abilities very close to the grenades such as normal rocket, shrapnel, smoke, etc. As for tool belt skill make it rocket barrage, but with lock on acts very much like the gb atm.
Flame thrower: Let it be transformed to something like Sonic weapon same range kinda same abilities, but its main focus would be confusion stacking with ae pulses and allowing the burst #2 ability to consume the confusion stacks for burst damage around 50% of what the stacks are at.

EG: Could use some input not sure of what this could be transformed into

Bomb Kit: Transform into Sapper Kit by adding a bit more normal ae range and swapping out some abilities to have some ranged like bunker buster medium range charge and swapping another out for possibly a claymore like ability , or trip wire. As for tool belt ability i think a line charge type ability for some added cone effect and a bit of range Look up line charge or apobs on youtube you will love it.

Tool kit: A much needed buff to this kit is in order transform it into a two hander a bit higher damage let it act somewhat like a hammer. Remove the magnet and give it a knockback or ae stun for the #5 keeping the cc portion in the kit. As for tool belt ability make it a jump ae attack like a warriors.

This is all stuff i would like to see to help change up the engineer class a bit, it would allow for the use of making your specific kit build stronger, but allow you to use the original kit as well if its something you prefer. I hope this is something anet would like to look at, because i believe this would really add some much needed flavor the engineer class.

Not sure if this is the right place but i have found a replacement for 100nades in pvp atm now it will take up 2 utility slots but can end up doing more damage by far. The setu kitten imple as a zerker engineer you use SD of course but you make in addition to your grenades, rocket turret, and rifle turret now with a full crit damage build your belt skills for rocket will be 45sec bullet will be 7 sec you deploy both turrets somewhere close or on top of some people if you grab the turrets use ground targeting then choose your target carefully. When you have chosen destroy both turrets and spam the rocket and bullet buttons instant 4 charges of SD plus the bullet and rocket with if you positioned them well 2 explosions of the turrets for another up to around 3k on crits try it out and have fun guys.
