Hi there! [DX] Distinction is recruiting! We’re a new SoR guild looking for active players to do PvE, WvW, and guild activities with. If you’d like to join whisper or mail me! Newer players are definitely welcomed!

Note that this is an SoR based guild but players from all servers are free to join.

DX is very very small at the moment but we’re looking to expand as much as possible! If you’d like to help build a new guild from the ground up look no further.

We’re PvX looking to do cover all aspects of the game with skill. If you’re a new player we’d love to teach you the game and help you along the way.

China’s servers are completely separate from the NA/EU servers. If you want to play there, you’ll have to buy the Chinese version of the game. This is partly due to cultural restrictions that the government places. The game has to be modified to meet those standards.

While that may be true, I don’t see any reason they can’t at least offer to swap our license or give us some credit towards the Chinese version. My issue is not so much with keeping my characters and purchases as having better latency and being apart of the majority’s timezone. Other international MMOs that also have paid region transfers have offered a grace period for transfers even when other regions are managed by a different company and transfers are not typically enabled.

I live in Hong Kong and currently play on SoR. Will NA/EU players be able to transfer to the China server and is there any chance it will be free?

Distinction [DX] is a new international Sanctum of Rall guild aimed at people who already have a casual or PvE focused guild they’re settled into but are interested in or frequently venture into WvW. Join to learn and play with focused WvW players.

• Upgrades are WvW focused, other upgrades will be given lower priority
• Guild missions will be scheduled if there is popular request for one
• Raffles because they’re fun
• WvW newbies welcome with the assumption that you are willing to learn from more experienced players
• Rep requirement in WvW, feel free to rep your current guild outside of WvW
• TS will be arranged if there is demand for it
• International members are welcome, but please stick to English in guild chat
• Pride in WvW skill and knowledge is intended but this does not mean any elitist or generally rude behavior is accepted

You’re welcome to make DX your full time guild for PvX purposes as long as you frequent WvW with us but please understand that it’s not the focus of this guild.

Just moved to Hong Kong so I’m looking for a guild that’s primarily active in GMT+8 (China/Singapore/HK/Taiwan/etc.). I’d prefer a more localized guild, not just a bunch of expats overseas. Chinese communication is OK.

My sylvari ele is named Alessa Floros, Floros as in Greek for green.

I’m getting this problem again, just stuck on the loading screen for minutes until it finally decides to say connection error.

I’m also getting this issue now. If I can even make it past the loading screen I just get disconnected 30 seconds later. I can move around but if I try to cast spells they just infinitely blink and if I try to go to a waypoint nothing happens but I’m still getting charged for the cost of going to that waypoint. By then I get the disconnect error.
