tried /pet kill Blingg, but that didn’t work

Same issue… went through the entire event (with 27th char) and wasn’t able to amass one egg due to lag. That’s ok though.. I followed the rest, read the mails I got, and wound up at the same spot you are at the moment.
I have a scroll that I can’t do nothing with at the moment. I’ll break for today and see if it’s fixed tomorrow.
Wish they had some kind of quest marker for this event (similar to your major quest) as I found it difficult to follow at times.
