Heads up to those who have had credit cards declined/Paypal refused – my bank notified me this morning that they flagged these transactions as fraudulent as they were showing as originating from an “Internet Cafe” – while this may be something specific to my bank, you might want to double check and make sure you’re banks aren’t blocking ANet transactions for some reason.

We’re having the same issue, have tried two different credit cards and Paypal, and we’re getting the very same error on all of them.

Tech Support had me run a diagnostic and send them the file – there’s a hangup for me at this point:

TCP 127.0.0.1:27275 127.0.0.1:54471 TIME_WAIT

Not sure if that’s ArenaNet or me, but husband had no problem with updating and has been playing for hours, while I sit and wait.

Same thing here, download speed drops to 0.00 kb/sec with about 1% downloaded, and it just sits there. Going to open a ticket as well.
