This is because you can only get 1 achievement chest a day. So on your first day you will get your 100 point reward the game still ‘owes’ you . 500 point chest on the second day, 1k point chest on the third chest, etkittenil they owe you no more ;D

There’s not much the dev’s will be able to do about this ‘problem’. The real problem here is that you’re using a mix of armors that all have different ‘night’ appearance. I’m afraid that if you want to fix this, you might need to find different armor.
