Crashes on 32-bit Operating Systems
The shared memory used by Guild Wars 2 can exceed the capacity of some 32-bit operating systems, which can cause the game to crash. If this happens, there are a few things you can do to decrease the amount of memory your computer is using:
Choose “Best Performance” in the Graphics Options from the character selection screen (press F11 to bring up your Options menu and click the mountain icon on the left to bring up the Graphics Options.). Then exit and restart the game.
Close any programs you currently have running that you don’t need.
Select “On Demand” for Content Streaming in the General Options from the character selection screen (press F11 to bring up your Options menu). Then exit and restart the game.
Try a Clean Boot.
