The title is misleading. It makes you think this is not a casual game, which is clearly fasle, because you can’t get more casual than GW2, but it’s not a bad thing. It’s the main reason I play it.

Let’s go play WoW guys, or any moba of your choice. We won’t find a balanced PvP game here. I must say at least Bli$$ard is trying, unlike Anet. What do you even expected from a Korean owned company? These guys (Koreans) have a large history of kittened up mmos.

I agree with you OP. PvP is a clusterduck as it is. The amount of CC is just ridiculous to tje point that it’s a spamfest of AoE stuns and knockbacks. It really takes no skill considering you can just spam CC skills without any drawback

Skilled gameplay 2015. Well done.
And no, traps are meant to lay them hidden, so people run into them without knowing that.

Whoever is in charge for Thief and Guardian balancing needs to be fired. He seems to hate his job.
But hey, nothing will be changed as long as there are enough scrubs who yell “l2p” under every comment.
9.2k true shot on an 11k hp Thief. Legit.

Been playing this game for 2 years now and with how balance is handled I’m not surprised no one watches it on Twitch. Balance simply sucks and that’s because Anet treats gw2 just as another casual game; they are more worried about making cosmetics and useless shhit. That’s why it’ll never be a competitive game at this pace. I would have fire the whole balance department by now.

The survivability of bunkers needs to be toned down, as does the burst dmg spikes. Lets bring the game back to not requiring roles and specific builds that is was originally supposed to be.

Regarding balance, for me this has been the main issue with tPvP since the release of the game. A.net needs to fix or at least tweak the bunker/burst DPS mechanics in order to successfully take roles out of the equation.

I think if you’re going for making your game fun to play/watch you need to find a balance between people dying instantly and never dying.

I believe this is the main issue with tPvP right now. Anet really needs to tune down bunker builds as well as giving burst DPS builds a bit more survivality (in detriment of their damage ofc).

I love the downed state, it’s the big thing that seperates the bad players from the good players.

Yeah it’s the big thing that gives an advantage to bad player over good ones.
