When using the Staff 3 skill “Ancestral Grace” everything disappears and is turned into a glowing light ball, as it should be, except for my chest armor. I am wearing the Aetherblade Medium Jerkin and I tested this on other chest and armor pieces and it isn’t present in every single one. What I noticed though, is that back pieces also seem to be visible a lot of the times, so sometimes I am just a flying quiver for the duration of the skill.
It might have been funny the first time I noticed this bug, but it is really horrific to look at now and destroys the immersion for me. I could just wear different armor, but I like how my armor looks and I’d like to keep wearing it when playing druid with a staff.
So I’ve been looking to dress my sylvari male somewhat skimpy and found an armor combination that I liked. But then I noticed that when wearing the Flame Legion Legguards that there is a square that glows around the crotch area (where there usually isn’t even any glow color without armor in the first place).
The thing is, it only happens when using one of the two different body types and not while using the other, so it might be easily fixed.
I’ve included a screenshot of the glow bug on the left and one of the other body type where it doesn’t happen on the right. Also, of course, my equipment.
I am using two different armor sets and have encountered this problem on one of them, but not the other.
Like, I am using the Aetherblade Medium Jerkin (Gem Store) in the one that shows my armor while using Ancestral Grace, but it doesn’t show any of my armor if I’m using the other armor set which doesn’t have any gem store armor pieces at all. Makes me think maybe it only affects gem store armor sets?
In any case, this is definitely something that bugs me a lot and should be looked into.
I’d like to second Berserkeremir’s first post, it’s been a year now and it’s still not obtainable. Every time a new update comes out, one of the first things I check is if the Triumphant Hero’s Armor is available yet. I’d like to know if we’ll get access to it some time this year, maybe? :/ That’d be nice to know.
Yes please, finally an update would be much appreciated.
It’s been almost a year and with every update I immediately always go “Maybe they finally added it! I can finally complete my character design!” first just to then be disappointed again.
I am really freakin proud if his design. Although I still do need to get myself the invisible shoes, because sadly I can’t just turn off the shoes like with shoulder or head pieces, and the are just so darn expensive. No luck getting them dropped either, yet. :( It’s also impossible to just dye the things he is wearing in a color that looks like his skin, I’ve been trying forever and in some different light situations it just looks super weird…
ALSO I wanna get him Light of Dwayna as a backpiece instead of the golden wings (even though they still fit his design so far.)
I believe the first one has returned since they got discontinued in 2013, but I missed them, because I did not play at that time. The wide rim glasses are a whole other story, I really don’t understand why they haven’t been brought back a single time, I constantly see people asking for them. What’s that about?
