Some ideas are cool, but is too much pvp-oriented IMO.
In a PvE contest why would you ever take this spec? Not for supporting team, neither for doing more damage…
I mean, tier2 and tier3 traits are absolutely usefull in PvE
Omg! Just yesterday i wast thinking of something like this and came here to search for some similar, aaaaand here it is!
My idea was very close to yours, an unique way for the engi to buff the party or to malus the enemy.
Here i explain my idea:
Remove the trait “Thermobaric Detonation” from Explosions (the blast and buff to evasive power keg, the bomb you leave dodging). Guys seriously who ever took this into a serious build. This trait is SO useless.
Replace it with “Armor Breaker”, a trait that gives you the opportunity to put a malus that increase the damage and condis by 5%.
How the trait can works? Few ideas:
-The proximity to the Armor breaker (300 range) pulses the malus “Exposed” (5s) every 3s. 5 targets. (melee focused, indipendent from the attacks)
-The attacks from the Armor breaker put the malus … (Possibility to play ranged, every attacks work. So explosion in this way has: mortar buff, buff on explosions, general buff)
-Proc on things like: on explosions, on stun-daze, on vuln applied. Something like "when you put vulnerability, you can stack Exposed "
Positive aspects:
-Role of offensive buffer to the engi, both pve than pvp.
-The offensive buff is separated from the defensive traitlines.
-Not a buff on the Scrapper. Scrapper is an EliteSpec pvp-based. Mostly defensive one. I don’t really like to give more “Power creep” to elite specs, but i prefeer to boost the old ones.
-PvE Buff for the PowerEngi: 5% damage modifier and group buff. Indipendent from Scrapper power build or basic power build.
-PvE not sure if is a buff or nerf on CondiEngi, cause it has to choose from a personal damage boost or a total damage boost. For sure it is a total Engineer pve buff.
I think this is the most valuable idea cause it removes a useless trait and gives a cool mechanic, all indipendent from PowercreepEliteSpecs.
What do you guys think?

Agree, and the utility skill need a buff too. Something about not only healing packs but medic’s kit 2-5 skills :P
Indeed the axe Mh is weird, and it’s trait is more.
The axe is an hybrid weapons, medium range, might buffer.
In my opinion, and following some suggestion posted here, it would be cool if:
-AA is doing +20%, -20%, -20% on the three targets too boost single target’s damage
-More direct damage to winter’s bite to boost the trait
-Replace the “250 ferocity with mh axe equipped” to 250 precision (works well with bleed on crits) or “with an axe equipped” (not only MH).

The stats as u prefeer. More dps? berserk/madauder. More tanky? Soldier/knight/wanderer. More healer? Cleric/zealot
For dungeons i recomend you to take one of the “meta” builds, or something that is in the same way of play of your group. I mean, if all your team is meta and wants to oneshot all the mobs, your less damage is not welcomed!

Cool idea! The white mantle skin’s number could be an issue, so them can be related to an achievement that says “soulbind 3 white mantle skins”.
For each boss: soulbind 1 weapon skin and and own an accessory. Exception of 3 white mantle skins.
This could be fair enought!
Rewards please. Rewards for server victory, rewards for account activity in wvw and points taken, rewards for kill other players.
And wvw way to get asc equipment with new stats too.
Gw was a skin grind lategame, now is a sort of newstat grind lategame…
The 66% reduction in movement speed in cripple is probably too much because there are a lot of traits that applies it for many seconds and 66% is huge.
I think that 50% it’s ok for cripple, but i agree to reduce the movement reduction of chill from 66% to 33% because it is a strong debuff even just having the skill cooldown increased by 66%.
