I like this idea a lot. Fortifications could have operating costs and consume what’s in the hut, then drop tiers. Maybe the walls take damage after dropping to t1 or the guards desert. Idk if it would have an effect, but it would be cool.

It might be tough to balance, though. How many missed yaks until it downgrades? And how long is that in real time? Would it really be worth it to code, debug and balance the mechanic for such a minor effect? Camps seem to flip frequently; they’re difficult to hold. How many yaks need to get through to undo the last hour of starvation?

There could be more pets, but they better not buff pets. Rangers are already one of the heaviest hitters, their pets can apply conditions as well as some DPS and they can revive them faster than any player can revive another player. I hope they add cool new pets, but they don’t need any kind of boost.

Are we playing the same game? Pets cannot be actively revived at all. Conditions are weak in general and weaker without bonus condition damage, which pets generally lack because they don’t scale. Pets explode and go on a 60 second CD from splashing AoE damage. And finally, pets are stupid because of AI limitations.

As an occasional TTS hanger-on, I fully support their request.

I’m only level 40-something, but aren’t all skills supposed to be unlocked in the Mists?

I’m a Ranger, and I don’t have Water Spirit, but it is available for purchase for 25 skill points. I only have 17 skill points, though and I don’t know how to get more in this mode.

I’m looking for a casual/social guild that is willing to do lowbie stuff. I’m new to this game, but I have several years experience in WoW, SWTOR and LoL.

I play evenings and weekends (east coast time). My main is a 40-something Charr Ranger and I will probably be leveling a toon of each profession eventually.
