Why is there no "Load Build" option?

This might be a terrible suggestion, but trainers could even sell “Build Tokens” for a gold or so each so you could switch builds out of combat as often as you liked, or felt you needed to, depending on how many tokens you bought; not to mention yet another item to take up space in your inventory. I imagine most players might feel this could be somewhat broken or unfair, mostly in PvP situations.

Thanks for the quick reply, everyone. That makes sense that PvP would get the option first, even though there seems to be a lot more to do in PvE. I suppose WvW would use the PvE build template. Hopefully the PvE players won’t have to wait too long, or worse, get shafted from the option completely.

As far as the cost, once you’ve paid it, I’m sure it would be easy enough to implement options to make a new build, load a saved one, or edit an existing build.

I assume most players don’t mind allocating their points over and over depending on what they want their character to do at any given moment. It seems people stick with a build for quite a while until they experiment/get sick of it. It would still be a nice option to have, and would certainly make the game and all classes feel more dynamic.

I’m a PvE player myself, and don’t plan on doing any type of PvP until at least one of my characters reaches 80. Even in PvE, it would still be great to be able to switch builds on the fly, depending on what Map/Dungeon/Fractal/Living World content you’re currently playing.
