Why are farewell posts forbidden?

People don’t quit GW, you can’t. It’s a game you bought once and then you can play it whenever. You can stop now, but in a few months time there will be a moment of boredom so big that you will install it back just to see what is new.
Thus being said, no need for goodbye posts from people who will either way eventually come back.

To add to that, most of the goodbye fair well i’m leaving posts mention the same things which is their own personal opinion, not general. What I’ve read from most people quitting is things they are bothered by, but which do not bother me. What they say is not to be considered a general opinion (a game can’t be of everyone’s taste) and to take in consideration and change the game because of one quitter is nothing justifiable.

If you like the game you stick with it, you play it, and yes, you complain to the company together with all the other current players and hope they will listen then.

One “omg i don’t like this i quit” thread should NEVER make the game for the people that right now are online and playing.

Just my 2 cents.

How do i report them?

I don’t doubt that, and the first few times i saw it i didn’t think much of it either. I thought it must be me lagging or something, but then i know for sure i saw one player just appear next to me out of nowhere, gathered a gold ore node, then instantly disappeared and 1 second later he was at another node a bit further away (still in camera view), gathered that one and disappeared again. I was not imagining it. After that everything became clear to me. A few minutes later i was in a cave at an ore node and a player instantly appears next to me and dies right next to the wall. If he was logging on just to get the node, i don’t think there was any reason for him to instantly die. Same thing happened with another player next to a mountain. Popped out and died right at my feet.

The last 2 i did report them, but i saw a few others that would be just too quick. Thus my reason why i ask if there is any other way i can report people when i can’t keep them targeted.

I believe there is a hack or exploit or 3rd party program that they use to teleport to certain coordinates and in case they are too close to a wall or mountain they die.

How do i report them?

Hi,

Tonight i encountered for my first time some of the players that use the “teleport hack/bug not sure what it is”. Technically while gathering, i would see “players or bots not sure what they are” that would just pop up next to me, either gather, either die (moment i would rez them like an idiot not realizing at first), and then they would just disappear away. I probably would have continued thinking it was me lagging or something if i didn’t see actually one player who just spawned next to me, gathered, disappeared and then saw him at another node just a bit away before he disappeared again.

Now, this is not a whine post. I understand that all games have buggs/hacks and i want to help the game developers figure them out as best as i can. With this information i have one question. How do i report them? Why i ask is that the 5/6 times I’ve seen this in the last hour, every time i realize it too late. The person has already disappeared away. So even knowing the name i just saw, i do not know how to report the said player.

If anybody has any idea how you can report a player for hacking while you can’t see them in target anymore, please tell me. (the few i tried did not accept party invites for me to try that way).

Thank you and have a good day/night!
