Guild Wars 2

I’d never had this problem in GW2 before. The problem with the lag I’m having has nothing to do with my fps dropping because my fps is fine. I have been lagging a lot since last week and I keep losing connection in the game. After I lose connection an error pops up and it takes me back to the character screen selection. I don’t think the problem has anything to do with my PC or internet because I have no problems when I browse the internet or play other video games. I tried opening my ports and made a GW2 shortcut with the “/clientport 80” thing but I still lag in the game no matter what. Please help me because GW2 is unplayable for me right now.
