No. The person who farmed 2-3 months for 2000G does not deserve the Legendary nearly as much as the person who farmed for 2-3 months for all the materials. Many of the mats can be bought in the post, but the other requirements are intended to demonstrate that the wielder of the weapon has complete mastery of the entire game as a whole. It’s true that it doesn’t make him stronger than other players, but I much prefer the idea of a reward for actually playing for huge amounts of time rather than simply spending cash. Also, players who do play enough of the game over a year to get the materials necessary completely deserve the legendary; if they play consistently for a year they have demonstrated their commitment to and mastery of the game.
