I tried something completely different and had a ton of success roaming…I rarely lose to anyone that’s not in a larger group, or a necro.
I’ve personally found regen trumps tough/vit as far as small scale battles go

Only things not shown – I swap to a GS with bloodlust sigil for power stacks, I also have both guard killer WvW buffs.

The build combines condi pressure, decent direct dmg (with sword anyhow), and respectable regen abilities.

That build starts at 8:05 – the pvp clips build is only slightly different – mostly forge runes and LR instead of dwayna and signet

Thats most likely because I ended up uploading a second video thats the same, with freebie music. Then an hour later they unblocked the first one …. yeah youtube isnt so great anymore

1. Pretty standard zerker. w/ the armor I normally run. The ugly crafted stuff in 1 clip was playing with valkyrie… Not worth it IMO

1. Trapper build I came up with(i think)….. Hybrid between power/condi, traps and bunker regen builds. Decent damage, and still can stay alive pretty well. Works well with just about every weapon combo as well

The bad:

in the meta where wvw roaming is dominated by healing signet warriors, condi-spam necros and perplexity engies, this video has:
0 (zero) fights against engies
no 1v1’s against necro’s (though he would have likely won the only necro fight in the video by himself)
only 2 1v1 fights against healing signet warriors, but it was the same (really bad) warrior both times.
Most of the video is tunneling elementalists and other rangers because those classes are the weakest opponents in the fights he finds.
Its hard to compliment anyone from FIRE (or Agg) as someone whose been SBI since launch (yay rivalry).
3 Days Grace…

The Good:

Someone still uses shortbow like a boss.
Someone still uses jaguar, not sure its like a boss but its worth noting.
Fantastic use of evade.
Winning 1vX with a POWER spec, seriously. Makes me miss Exploitz videos (you hear that Paundro? its time for some more).
Winning without troll ungent.

I would love to see the full spec/gear break down for what you are running.

The fights were all recorded the same friday-sunday, with only a few hours per night (when i remember to press f9) So any missing fights is because of that. I had no footage vrs engineers/necros alone to put in there. and the ones I did it ended up being 20v1

Signet warriors i had several fights I technically won, but they just ran with ~5% hp and I have no way to truely chase them down if they really want to escape. Honestly with this build warriors give me the LEAST amount of problems of any class, their abilities are incredibly easy to predict and dodge.

Condi necro’s I can face roll (most of the time) Power necros own me if they are even remotely good. Perplex engineers seem to be a pretty even fight

I run healing spring over troll for 4 reasons…. condi removal, stacking regen, bigger burst heal, and combo finishers…. both blast and ranged shot

Missing sigil is AoE heal on swap, doesnt seem to be on there for some reason

Either rune of water or dwayna typically….. I prefer water
Tho with some surprise I have run Rune of vampirism and despite its bugs is NOT a bad rune(when it works). The mist form saved me several times as well as the life steal is nice for a big burst heal when you drop spring, as well as some extra DPS

Theres at least 4 or 5 diff builds / gear sets I ran (I change ALOT) I’d say 3/4 of them were 0/0/30/10/30 tho
