Yeah i just saw this on twiter but that doesnt say much. For example will it help em fix the problem faster if all of us stop trying to log in? Should we go and try again in a few hours ? I understand big server crashes i’m IT myself but what exactly is the problem would help

An update on the situation would be great… Estimated fix time? wnything ? thanks

As someone who does not have a predator, but recently had my mist pistol particle effect taken away and then fixed, I do not agree with changing such expensive items.

thanks for expressing your opinion theres a big difference though between an item that cost 170g or 50 hours work and has only visual efects and an item that costs 2500g or 1000+ hours work and has wrong stats (but you cannot transmute), visuall efects (all till now agree that they are great) and sound that it was wrong first place. The weap shot fire bolts, exales fire after each shot, leaves fire footprints behind and creates a fire aura all over armor. How can a pew pew sound match to all fire theme. Even normal rifle sound matches better that that. Imagine if your mist gun had sound effect also and visually lets say it shot ghosts (bad example but thats all i’ve got ) and instead of ’’boo’’ (silly again you can think somethink better matching, but you get my point) the sound was like someone is unzipping something. I think you will get my point but thanks for posting ! +1 for being polite p.s i had mist greatswort with broken visuals so i know what you mean

I absolutelly agree and even more since Tobschge said to conncept that has no predator yet that he cannot have opinion. He can have opinion even if he dont have it. He may want to craft it.

I did craft this legendary ONLY BECAUSE OF THIS SOUND. Don’t even think of it.

You can’t sell ppl a corvette but change it to a smart because you feel like it. I’m really happy that the changed it back to the intended sound.

Read before you post next time. This post is for those who Dont want to go back to star wars and still want to make this game better. Just respect other ppl opinions. And yes i have crafted the predator i have 1500hours of gameplaying , badges of honor of actual kills and not jumping puzzles etc but thats not the point. The Point is that i embrace the change if its for the good of most ppl. If most ppl want the pew pew then ok if not, then they have to be heard. And even in your car example. The fact that i can get a ferrari doesnt mean that i wont get tired of the sound and change it just because i knew the sound before i buy it. For example THIS SOUND wich you claim it was the reason to craft it it was one of the reason made me to reconsider if i will craft it. Actually i know that ppl can say whether they agree or disagree. But if you read my whole topic it does says that this post is for ppl thatDO want the pew pew sound to be changed. You would be 100% right if i was asking for everybodys opinion. If you see THERE is a post for those that do like the pew pew sound. The sound isnt my biggest concern, the fact you cant choose our stats is. Would you agree that they need to include a way so we can choose the stats of our legendaries? If you do then your claim that if you know something before (like i knew the stats before i craft it or the sound before i craft it) then you cannot expect to change it later is a fail too.Ask the ppl who had to trasmute it to exotic to get the desired stats. Hello everyone. Today after 2 days i was away, i loged in and i was like ‘’omg the best change they made so far is gone?’’ I even report it as a bug and then i searched the forum and i sadlly discovered that they were several predator owners that they suggested to change the sound back to pew pew. And because i dont think those people represent ALL of the predator owners i made this post for those that dont like the pew pew sound tobe heard too. I mean i was really excited when they added the aura efect and footsteps. But after they change the sound too i was thrilled. If i wanted pew pew soundas i would head back to star wars old republic. Whats the point to hear space sounds to a rifle that shots fire. Apart that the fact that to a player that plays 10-12 hours per day that pew pew starts to annoying so much that he has to mute the sound. So anyways if the most of predator owners agree to pew pew then i will follow. But if the most like the fire bolt sound let em be heard here

First thing, making your point into a wall of text isn’t helping your cause because nobody will bother reading it if you present it like that. Secondly, yes I agree we should have some way to decide the stats of our Legendary. I mean they are Legendary after all, it would be nice if we could even change their stats to match our build without transmutation stones at all.

you have right about my post being too long. The thing is i had to cover everything so nobody will go out of subject saying things like thats how trasmutations suppose to work etc. Anyways its not a REAL cause since i have not a real problem (but people that trasmuted have so i support them) but i find silly the fact that we dont have choices and as you said its legendary right? thanks anyway that you took the time to read it. One suggestion for programmers to help people who already transmuted to be able to roll back their weapon easilly is to make a legentary roll back stone in gem store who will run a simple logarithm . That program will ’’read’’ the name of the weapon (twilight of rage, or predator of fire) for example and IF that name contains the words twilight,predator,eternity etc, the player will be able by confirming the action to give the exotic ‘’twilight of rage’’ the base stats of twilght. This will be easy as no other exotic other that the trasmuted legentary has the word twilight or predator in its name. And come on, u did the change name consumable in gem store and the appearance change thing. The one i suggest is easier and everybody will be happy.

As for the different stats in legentaries for those like me who want a different stats i’ve got another suggestion. For example i had Triforge pendant right? On latest patch note where ascendend amulets were introduced i was happy to see that i had the chance by puting my Exotic triforge with 3 more mats in the mystic forge to get the ascended version of the amulet. So if you can do this, why cant you make mystic forge recipes so we can change stats to our legendaries. For example if i put my predator with x mystic coins, x globs and x heavy bones i will be able to get an power precision critical version of my rifle, or by puting the predator with x mystic coins, x blobs x vicious fangs i can get a healing version etc. So by only changing the last mats i could change my legentary to whatever stat i want. Please transfer these suggestions to your programmers you might find that the solution to all those and to keep your players happy its easier than you thought.

Anet by the appearance and name change items and by the triforge upgrade recipe you showed us that you Can do that much without having your people to manually rolling back transmutations, or without having to create x more legendaries to be able to have more stat selection for your players. That way you will gain back our trust you will avoid rage quits and bad advertising. And everybody will be happy again !

I am the proud owner of a predator. I have a crit build warrior, so power precision critical is everything to me. When i first started making the predator ofcourse i knew the stats will be power toughness vitallity and i still went for it cause i thought ‘’meh Anet wont fail us’‘. They will introduce for sure a way to change our stats. I also knew how trasmutation stone mechanics works so i waited for the official answer and update for this subject. So on last patch notes we had the answer that it will keep the highest rarity etc… IT WAS AN OFFICIAL ANSWER . English is not my native language so sorry for my broken english but at least that means i know 2 lanquages so dont judge, but i know it meant that after trasmuting an exotic rifle with power precision critical to my predator it will still be legendary right? That also means in my understading that if its legendary it will still get the stat boost it deserves… Hmmm but i still havent trasmuted even though their answer was clear. In this forum and the last patch notes… Yeah i didnt trust them.. Well theres a problem now isnt it? So still stuck with wrong stats. But i mean: On exotics you can choose your stats, on dungeon gear you CAN choose the stats, on karma gear you CAN choose your stats, and in new ascendend gear you Can choose your stats and even if someone says ’’Oh you dont know what you talking about i’ve got a sword from dungeon or karma and still i had to trasmute it to get the stats i wanted’’ i will answer ‘’thats right you got an exoting with other stats you trasmuted the skin to other exotic and bam! you got an item with the stats and skin you want. Why cant i do the same with my legendary. You’ve got that dungeon weapon after 6 paths and i got my legendary after 1000+ hours work. Dont i deserve to choose for my stats? The thing is that it took so much time and effort to make that legendary and even it took me like 30mins to write this post. Can’t an Anet representative take 30 mins to write more than a sentence? Something like ‘’Case 1) If you transmute it it will do this.. Case 2) We will Make a new trasmutation stone for legendary stats like power- precision- critical stone etc… Case 3) We wont EVER introduce ascended weapons with better stats from legentaries where you will be able to choose your stat set like the other ascended gear and we will NEVER give a stat boost to legendary.. So the people will know. For example if they say they wont boost legendary stats or make ascendend weapons with better stats then yes i dont care if my predator is purple yellow or green as long as i know that they will not have a weapon with better stats than mine in the future. And for those that says here that ’’ Oh you knew the stats you will get on your legendary before you even make it , Oh thats how trasmutation should work etc’’ Dont give this to people who already trasmuted because they trusted Anet. I havent but they did. And you obviously dont have a legendary yourself so YOU DONT know how these people feel. YOU are the one who feels great reading to those poor people trasmuting their legendaries cause you’ve got a weapon with same stats giving 2g to tradepost. So i wait for more than an automated answer for this like ‘’hey we tracking the bug right now thanks for your report’’ At least then people will know that if you want different stats on your weapon dont go for legentary at all. And also for those people that already trasmute their hard made weapons you dont know how much i feel for you i hope at least and if they dont find another solution to roll your weapons back to what they were.Thanks in advance.
