Vision Statement: A [BUNI] shall never be alone, whether it be delving the deeps of dungeons of yore or weathering the foes in Mist-formed lands. Where there is one there is another; swift, powerful, and mighty like the noble Jackalope. There shan’t be a place where our deadly horns do not reach, fear mere mortals, for fluffy, cute death await you.

We’re new, we’re proud, and we love jackalopes; adorable fluffy bunnies that can kick behind to the seventh level of Inferno. Beyond our mission statement, [BUNI] was also built on the idea that when you group with us, it’s not about what you wear, or if you know what your doing. As long as your willing to learn, then there’s a place for you. It can be tiring finding groups that are intolerant and often pushy, so we’re here to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Now more than ever, it is a wonderful time to be in a guild, so why not us? There’s no need to be shy nor worry about inexperience, as a guild we’re here to make sure all those worries will drift away. Not to mention as a new creation, you’ll have the exciting experience to be apart of something that grows, and help define our direction for the future.

In [BUNI] we dream that no member will ever roam alone in the lands of Tyria. In each corner there will be someone with you bravely representing our little organization. Come along for the ride, it’ll be friendly, fun, and fantastically jackalope.

Actually, I think Mesmers are more likely to get Rifle than Longbow.

Any new weapon for the Mesmer would be a nice improvement. My image of them are still very…original game biased; which is high courtesan, or someone in nobility. (Contests/displays of skill among higher class, nobles, etc. i.e. the archery contest in “Brave”) That said – it is much easier for to justify a longbow in my opinion.

On the other hand much of the game’s aspect in relation to lore, and parallel real world referencing has changed. In respect to ranged weapons we are in an age (in relation to mass based weapons) an impasse of traditional warfare and guns.

(Still very complicated to to be honest, since there are tanks in game, which provides an interesting question of five civilizations in different technology eras, and developmental periods. i.e. Charr – industrial, Human – Victorian-esque, Asura – high technology, Norn – Nomadic Settlers?, Sylvari – on their own scale. )

Admittedly this is more of a wish than a suggestion; though, I feel that there is something missing in the weapon repertoire for Mesmers. As such, I have taken a little liberty to imagine what I think Longbows would be like, taking a little inspiration from Elizabethan Hunting.

1. Mind-Pierce Arrow -> Shatter Shot -> Mirror Bolt

• Mind-Pierce Arrow – Shoot an arrow that pierces targets.
• Shatter Shot – Shoot an arrow that explodes with magical shards.
• Mirror Bolt – Shoot a magical bolt while reflecting incoming projectiles. Summon a clone that that uses Mind-Pierce Arrow.

2. Illusory Trap -> The Vanishing

• Illusory Trap – Setup a shadow that that explodes when triggered.
• The Vanishing – Explodes your trap prematurely and teleport to it’s location vanishing.

3. Phantom Legion

• Phantom Legion – Summon an array of phantasmal bows that rapidly fires upon your target.

4. Phantasmal Falconer

• Phantasmal Falconer – Creates a phantasm that harries foes with phantom hawks.

5. Chaotic Dominion

• Chaotic Dominion – Suspend numerous magical arrows above the target location that rain down on foes entering the perimeter pushing them out of the area.
