I didnt touched the Sylvari yet. So I´m not sure about how abrupt your “personal” part of your story ended.
I´m just a bit disappointed that it was all put to an end with one sentence: “No more research on this project, it´s dangerous! – Ok.”
“By the way, there are some really serious troubles in the world out there. Go, choose an order and fight your way to the dragons.”

That´s not how I want it

I had the exact same problem.
I´ve found the solution by changing my play style.
For instance, I´m playing as an engineer. I was just using my rifle in combination with my towers. Did not really the huge amount of dmg, but enough for the beginning.
With ongoing story I´ve found myself dying repeadly. I then switched to the grenade kit, just because I was in rage mode “See, not doing any dmg against them with my rifle, how should my grenades even touch them!”
A few seconds later:
“W00t? They´re dead! Those tool-kits aren´t as bad as I thought they would be.”

I´m using only grenades since I discovered them

Hi there.

I really enjoyed my personal story! I´m currently lvl 72.
But only so far as I was to explore my first experiment as Asura (I´ve chosen the infiniteness ball, not sure about the right translation).

Spoiling now
After some fights all my Asura said was: “Yeah Zojja, I won´t research the ball any longer.”
And that´s all. After this story quest I got a really random written latter regarding I have to choose between some orders of whisdom etc.
So, the second half of my personal story is just the same as everyone else is playing?
“Go out and kill the undead. I won´t even mention your ball!”

I´ve lost the joy of playing my story, because it´s just usual stuff. No more messing arround with my broken experiment

Will it return?
