There is a reason there are choke points into the center of SM.
There is a reason that Golems move slowly.
There is a reason you can repair broken walls and doors.

The problem with portal is it circumvents much of the design of WvW.

I’d like to see all these people responding with “L2P” address the above points as they relate to portals please.

/signed. The portal skill is actually the root of what most people are complaining about in WvW, they just don’t realize it. More hardcore WvWers are leaving every day, waiting for a game that gets it right.

Yeah, we should have swept outside the walls for wall-jumping-portal-exploiting Mesmers too I guess.

We held SM from the beginning of reset AND had a zerg mesmer sweep just to be sure. No swords, no downed walls, just all of a sudden BOOM – SM gone.
