I haven’t played for months since an ugly incident where I lost my account for two weeks because they said I was using a third party program. Recently, after changing the settings on my antivirus software to require approval for updates, I found out that I have something on my computer called Hotkey Utility by Gateway, that is apparently something that comes on the computer. I was curious if this, factory installed program was what got me terminated last year. I am not bringing this idea up for myself, I argued for 2 weeks and got my account back, but quit the game because of hard feelings on my part. If however, it is a possibility that your detection software is flagging people for a factory installed program, it would be nice if there was a more customer friendly way of dealing with it.

Good luck, I was banned in the jumping puzzle incident last month and got my account back after 2 weeks of insisting on my innocence despite their emails about absolute confidence. I am sad to read about your issue and I hope they resolve it.

Thank you for reinstating my account which was terminated on 6/25/13 for tampering with your game. I was told the third time my ticket was closed that it wasn’t due to goemm’s lab bug. But today I was told it was a bug and was reinstated. I fear that there are a decent number of players that are innocent that give up after the first or second denial to reinstate, I hope to see better routes of communication in the future (I hope to personally never need them again). The last two communications I received from your support team were a great improvement to the original two. I have no idea what other bug affected me or could have triggered your system. I am a little oblivious and don’t always realize when things are not working according to the programmer’s intention.
Thank you again for finding the bug. I logged in for a little bit, but since I didn’t get to do the last event, it was so hard to get my termination reviewed and overturned, I just don’t feel like playing GW2. Maybe that will change with time.
