Pathetic how this thread got even started and is still going on. Like your life is gonna take a dark turn after you hear a spoiler from the new Star Wars movie. Even so, if spoilers from the new Star Wars are okay to be reported, then all spoilers should be. What privileges the new Star Wars movie from other movies?

no it is the community doing the right thing for the right reasons . and yes the same should go for other things too . like i said already in other posts . this is not other company . it is Anet and they call the shots here and make the rules as they see fit . we in turn give them money for that said game to be given to us as they promised it to be and not with other things added into the game by other people like mods and so forth . and talking like that can get a ban as well from what the toss and form rules tells me

Excuse me. Didn’t the other players want to complete their event as well? Using this logic, the people killing the mobs they were waiting for was just as hostile? And they even asked the person(s) to stop.

Yup, that what i was trying to say in my post, this is COMPLETELY ANET’S FAULT, they created this fight and they need to fix it ASAP, its literally creating huge in game fights.

GG on promoting toxicity within the community ANET. Half the people responding to the OP don’t even know whats going on, the other half is just frustrated that you made two events failing in a highly populated area to be a requirement to craft Nevermore.

Makes me wonder if your QA team just sleeps on the job before releasing content.

You don’t have to delete any files. Simply [alt+f4] at the map loading screen. Restart the game, do [alt+f4] again at the map loading screen. Then restart a second time, and the game will load the previous map instead of the broken one.

I am getting the same error. Code:=7:0:0:794:101 I tried a to remove that GW2.tmp file several times no go. I reset my entire network here not that I thought it mattered but what the heck. No go. I only really play in the winter, thinking maybe it is time to quit for the year and come back to the game another time in the 2015 time frame. Not real sure what to do about this error.

Did you exit out of the game first with taskamnager.? You have to be completely exited out of the game before you delete the file, then log back in, and as i’ve said you might have to do it a couple of times. The first time I did it, it worked on the first try, each one after that, i have to do it twice now.

For those stuck in the loading screen, a quick fix:

Use windows taskmanager to end Gw2.exe process, go to your Guild Wars 2 folder and delete Gw2.tmp (might have to do this a couple of times).

Then when you log back in you’ll start in the last map you were in before you tried to get into EOTM.

On Friday night, I went to log into my account, it wouldn’t accept my password, so I reset it. Being the non-thorough person I am, I have never logged into the website or made a post here in the forums, so I have never set up the security settings on my account.

Well thanks to my stupidity on the matter, when I changed my password, I was immediately locked out of my account because of the Mobile Authenticator, which I never set up because I never knew about it.

So, reading the forums here, I learned they would have to disable the Mobile Authenticator after I submit a ticket and prove who I am with the info on the submission. The ticket number I submitted was 1030889, and they finally got back to me on Sunday night and I was able to log into my account. Thank You very much support team, I have a lot of time and real life money invested in this account and was on pins and needles over losing it.

As it turns out, the reason I wasn’t able to log in on Friday night was because I was being hacked. Yup, they cleaned me out, all my mats are gone, and an ascended armor set and ascended weapons, my inventory bags and whatever was in them, anything that wasn’t account bound in my bank, my laurels which I had been saving for a half year now, over 2 mil in karma, any gold I had, and my character is parked in front of the bank with some stuff in what’s left of my inventory that shows they used the karma to get obsidian shards.

I have immediately logged out and I’m in the process of setting up the Mobile Authenticator on my account in order to get more security. My question is, is there a way I can get my game save reinstated to the point it was before it was hacked, with all my stuff? Or because of my stupidity, am I just out everything i have worked for?

Any response would be appreciated.
