I found this site to be useful in finding the locations of them and general difficulty. Of course, closing it or changing the tab after I find the location so I can figure out the puzzles on my own.
Excellent, thanks.
Do the jumping puzzles that came with this patch disappear / become unavailable after the event ends? (Not counting the clock tower, I fully expect that one to poof)
As someone who was thoroughly entrenched in WoW’s endgame throughout Wrath and Cataclysm, I don’t understand why anyone would want that in this game. If you want WoW’s endgame, go play WoW. Guild Wars 2 is a different beast and it’s an extremely young one at that. Let the game grow.
This. You really can’t compare a game with an extensive playerbase that’s had time to grow for almost a decade to a game that hasn’t even been out a year.
In given time, I’m sure more dungeons, more Mists PvP battlegrounds will be added, and probably raids too.
I have high hopes.
BTW: Even Diablo 3, with all its criticisms, at least managed to make their combat system fun and engaging, with enough skill customization to allow personal variety. Maybe Anet can borrow a few ideas.
By fun and engaging, you must mean a system that punishes you for any changes you make to your build after you have stacks of NV (Unless they changed this, haven’t played in a few months), or despite there being so many choices, a large majority of every class, of every build, with every rune, was predominantly the same (subject to future balancing, obviously)
I personally enjoy this system. A lot. It’ll also get better once they get a chance to balance every weapon set, allowing even more freedom.
I also find the combat very refreshing after 7 years of WoW. The added downed states and dodging aspects adds huge levels of depth for me in both PvE and PvP.
…Is this serious?
