As the title says the Ranger Beastmaster trait Stability Training appears to be broken. From what I can tell, it does not apply the three seconds of stability when the pet is disabled.

Tested with a black bear primarily against carrion devourers in Fireheart Rise because they have two different knockdowns. First with their burrowing, and second with a dedicated knockdown attack. There was a minimum of ten seconds between each fight to allow the cooldown to expire. A devourer would be targeted and the pet commanded to attack it. I would then attack the devourer with a single shot from maximum longbow range and then stop attacking. This would generally be enough to get the devourer to start burrowing. Pulling back would then typically result in them switching targets to the pet. I would then target the pet and watch what happened.

As the devourer comes up from burrowing, a knockdown effect is applied. This knockdown is always successful. As this is a disabling effect, the stability boon from the trait should be applied, but no such boon appears in active effects bar for the pet. If this was just display issue, I would expect the stability to cancel out the knockdown, but it does not. Later on in each of these fights, the devourer uses its dedicated knockdown attack. Again, it is always successful, and no evidence of a stability boon being applied can be found. More telling, on a few occasions, some of these attacks occurred just within the three second time window of the knockdown caused by the burrowing.

I also did a lesser amount of testing against raptor stun attacks with the same black bear, and was unable to detect any application of the stability boon.

Same problem on Fort Aspenwood. It hasn’t been triggering for over a day now.
