my vote goes to mesmer just because it is an original and more fun class to play

it’s funny what you are saying because guardian is a really good counter to condi mesmer and you see a lot more DH than condi mesmers playing ranked

Yeah, same problem here and 4 of my friends.

I played this game since the day it was released with decent 60+ fps but now it’s simply unplayable with less than 30 fps on the EXACT same PC.
It would be acceptable a 5 or 10 fps drop after the update but seeing the UI eating this much fps is insane!

It’s just impossible to play this game with this frame rate and I don’t see this getting fixed any time soon.

osi u’re the best..really..i use a sc hybrid now, but i can’t choose if use s/s or s/p with staff and if take 20 point in power (with the +15% illusion damage) or 30 in precision (with the pistol range 1200)..:/ any suggestion?

yah I have the same dilemma :/

I think osi plays s/s most of the time in his videos so it’s probably his favorite/most useful comb.
I find s/p slightly more useful, just because illusionary leap has only 600 range and most of the time it harms me more than helps me (sometimes I’m within range and the illusion doesn’t show up and others, when it shows up, it stops halfway to the target, making it impossible to 3-3-2 relatively fast if needed).
It is easy to change the weapon comb when needed but I can’t say the same about the traits.

Osi, what you think about s/s vs s/p (and the corresponding trait points), in what situations to use one or the other and the current illusionary leap state?

I play mesmer for about 2/3 month and in only ~1 hour (reading your posts and watching your videos) I learned much more than all that time playing!
I’ll start to think out of the box next time I play WvW thanks to you!

I have a little problem however. My firewall don’t let me see your trait build links and I don’t know any way to go around this problem. my firewall doesn’t like tinyurl links it seems :/
