I’ve read people here crying for condimesmer… When the “top condi” that a mesmer can apply in this meta are torment and confusion, two condition that you can just easly avoid.
You can avoid use skills when you have 16 confusion stacks on you, and you can avoid running like a rabbit when 10 torment on you.
..Or you can just cleanse them out.
Really there is people who cry about condimesmer but find condinecro complitely ok?
Just a l2p issue here, not else. And still not get the point about why you guys are still talking about.
This is just a l2p problem, actually Mesmer in spvp are pretty much death with only a build “viable”.
Yeah then, nerf mesmer again. So we will have 8 class in pvp!
The OP lose all his credibility when he say “mesmer are actually top tier”, you might be stuck in the S1.
Pretty sure me and other 3/4 mesmer in the entire game are still playing GW2 with a main mesmer char.
But yeah, the 6 second of auto evade, so balanced… How someone can just even think about that?
The actually top tier profession are Necro/Scrapper/Thief. Mesmer are pretty much dead in every single game mode.
You know that Mesmer in WvW are nothing more than a veilbot after the last “balance” patch?
And you want another nerf? Lol.

I tried on myself full commander’s gear (Without the Amulet, thanks god I killed Mordremoth in extreme mode AFTER switched back my gears, or probably I would waste it with that useless Commander’s stat.), and I can tell you…
Is just a waste of money, time and hopes.
Chronotank works better with a classic full Assassin armor / zerk weapon|Trinket and Captain’s / Knight rings.
You lose TOONS of DPS and A LOT of money (And time, you need charged quartz crystal to make 1 piece) for what? 20% boon duration and some toughness? Really don’t worth the pain.
I swithed back to zerk weapon and keep only some armor with commander stats to reach 10% boons duration without food/rune/sigil and I will switch back the rest of my armor soon.
If you really want to reach 100% boons duration for a raid, there are better alternatives.
In fractal is pointless, 20% boon duration from the food are just enough for a T3-4 run.
And, if you think that 20/30% boon duration will change your Open world experience… Well, they don’t if they make you lose 50% crit. damage and like 200 power. (And still you can’t share your boons with all the world around you, so… Still no.)
If you want toughness, go for Knight/Captain’s rings and keep your armor / weapon / trinket with zerk/assassin stats.
Work 1000 times better than a full Commander’s Chrono.
Commander’s stats are really, really, really, really don’t worth the pain.

The condi mesmers are still a viable counter to a thief through blinds
Sad how aNet nerfed Mesmer’s blind too, heh.
Just take a tour in the Mesmer forum, and you will be lucky to find a single positive word on the actual state of this class.
Chronobunker was OP and we all agree, but kill a whole class to “balance the game” it is just a lazy way to nerf.
Mesmer balanced? lol?
They are pretty dead after the last patch.
