I’ve updated the build with Sinister trinkets and weapons and Shaman armor. That’s dropped my toughness but increased my power and vitality. Your comment about Unholy Martyr seems correct. I’ll give it a shot.
I’ve been playing around with fun PvE builds for Necro. This one focuses on “farming” conditions and then stacking them on enemies through pets and Crit effect procs. I also have added toughness thanks to the pets, and heal for 10% condi damage.
My main question is, what would be more effective in this kind of build, thoughness or vitality? I currently have full Rabid for toughness but I’m at the base 1k vit.
Give me your ideas. What would make this build a bit better (PLEASE don’t start with “drop everything and use this meta build!” That’s not the point of this post…)
I’m a fairly casual player looking for a solid Guild for running dungeons and doing WvW and PvP. I’ve been soloing most of the game so far, but it’s getting a bit boring doing everything alone. I’m not exactly a newb but I’m sure there’s a lot I have to learn.
I usually play Ranger but I also have a Necro, Engi, and Warrior that I occasionally play. Haven’t hit 80 yet but as of this writing my Ranger is 65.

Details: One of the later Charr storyline missions. My friend cannot join me, and he also sometimes disappears completely.
