Haha I’ve already written this on the suggestions forum. They really handicapped the elementalist with this skill, it’s perhaps the most useless skill in the entire game…..I so much hope Anet will get rid of this skill and put something useful there
Honestly, get at least 10 points in air, grab Zephyr’s Boon and suddenly this useless skill will grant you fury and swiftness.
Then it just becomes a waste of trait points too. I’d rather have a decent damage or defensive skill in it’s place.
This awful, awful skill is a large reason as to why I don’t take the focus seriously. It’s a complete waste of a weapon skill. The damage done is pitiful, it lasts for a very short time, and it offers no defensive bonuses. I’d rather spend my time trying to not get hit than waste it casting this.
Downed state would be fantastic if all the downed interrupts were removed. It’s often harder to kill a downed player than a live one depending on the class. Remove the interrupts, then it actually becomes a team game where your team can bail you out, not yourself if you happen to be a thief or another class with a plethora of finisher escapes.
The sharks, and water combat in general, are some of the least fun things in pvp.
Given the astounding amount of awful traits, I much prefer the mathematic +% ones. That way, they affect all the my skills instead of applying some abysmally weak boon to some small subset of slotted skills that I never slot in. I do agree you otherwise though, I would love to see more traits that actually make a difference in gameplay and strategy (and make the traits worth taking).
I would like nothing more than for the downed state of all classes to be either removed completely or be voided of any interrupt skills, in PVP at least. It’s simply not fun to have to kill a person twice.
