Do we have to take this statement literal, as in ‘the Halloween event you experienced in 2013 will be the same one’ or will there be a new narrative? I would not appreciate and enjoy it if we got an easy recycle from last year…

I’m upset that they chose to let Blood and Madness return. Wasn’kitten big failure? Grind Candy Corn? Instead of bringing some events from the first Halloween Event, they bring back the failures of last year.

That might be true, but crafting it cost a lot of gold (especially if you haven’t mastered any of the relevant crafts)

I truly love that we had the opportunity to craft a new backpiece. I feel that it gives the player a sense of accomplishment creating a new and exciting backitem. However, I do not love the idea that a player has to master multiple crafting jobs in order to complete the job all by himself.

Is there a possibility crafting-processes similar to the Mad King Memoires will return to the game, i.e. going on a hunt for several items, and combine them at a NPC or at the mystic forge without the requirement of a high-leveled crafting profession?

I was wondering, what are your expectations for this year’s Halloween event?
Unfortunately, I only started playing Guild Wars 2 a year ago, making me unable to witness and participate in the first Halloween event, which seemed enormously enjoyable and diverse with the Book Hunt, the different acts and the Mad King Dungeon. Compared to what I experienced last year, I was a bit let down, as I was expecting a similar kind of experience during the second coming of the event. However, Blood and Madness was a small disappointment: the story was not divided in acts and the living story itself was not that diverse or very original or exciting. The Fight was Oswald was all but exciting or epic.
Am I the only one who feels this way, or are there other people who believe this is true?
And so I arrive at my question what are your hopes for Halloween 2014?

Personally, I hope for another rich Living Halloween Story with multiple acts, spread over a certain period of time. I would also love to see another scavenger hunt in order to put together or create a new backitem or perhaps a weapon.

As you al may (or may not know) Kasmeer has been through some pretty heavy stuff, and with a lot of community members speculating that there will be a character death (and the majority believes it’ll be either Kasmeer or Marjory) I’d like to call your help. Show how much you love Kasmeer (and Marjory) ^^

Should I wait with opening them then?

The boxes contain glory boosters, which will be become obsolete next update, will they contain gold then? Or will nothing change?

I am also looking for a guild/server that is doing a run for this achievement. I also need ‘Flawless Defense’ to get my title. Any help/invite would be great!
