Hey all, I’m fairly new to the game. I’ve been playing a few weeks, and recently hit 42. I’ve been playing a Thief and love it so far, and have been using D/D for PvE. I haven’t played PvP yet, because I haven’t really decided on a build.

I wanted to ask the more experienced Thief players, what’s a strong PvP and PvE build? I love having mobility and survivability. I’ve been using D/D in PvE for the AoE bleed damage and the free evade that comes with the skill, and a shortbow as a secondary for the solid AoE and kiting potential. Is this type of build still viable later on? I hear that S/P is peobably the best for PvE because it has a blind and pistol whip does a ton of damage. I tried playing it, but I just don’t like the way it feels. I like hopping around and doing condition damage more lol

As for PvP, I actually haven’t played any PvP yet. I heard that S/D is really good in PvP, but I haven’t seen a lot of D/D builds for PvP. Is D/D viable in PvP? What kind of dual dagger build would be strong? I want lots of mobility and survivability in a character, which is why I chose Thief in the first place.

And to anyone who doesn’t play Thief, what’s the most annoying Thief setup to play against? lol
