Guild Wars 2

Questions: I first noticed the changes to the PS when I finished the cleansing of Orr and, instead of being told to go fight Zhaitan, was told to go invade Orr all over again. 1: Will I have to do those two chapters all over again? Or will I go straight to Zhaitan and it will be as if I skipped over the invasion of Orr altogether? and 2: Will the Greatest Fear storyline be totally wiped from my character’s history?

You know what this is like? This is like if George Lucas decided Star Wars was too long, and entirely removed how they escaped the Death Star…which they then immediately blow up, and only THEN do they arrive at the rebel base to figure out how to blow up the Death Star. Cue ending credits. And also he stole all of your copies of the movie so you can’t even watch the old version anymore.

I had just finished the “Ships of the Line” quest, and I am now doing “Against the Corruption.” All my progress of the previous chapter has vanished. Am I going to have to do that chapter all over again?

I would also like to add: The most economic solutions for Anet to take here would be to either put the story back the way it was, decide they don’t actually care about the game anymore and leave the story in the complete mess it’s in, or, the worst possibility…remove even more, vast amounts of content in order to make the story make sense again. Given the fact that this mess exists in the first place, I’m terrified that they’ll do the last…

I’m on Devona’s Rest

Same, except the tower doesn’t even need to be contested for the chest to randomly already be open for me. I’ve lost about four chests this way, and I’m worried if I do any more this’ll keep happening and I won’t be able to get the achievement.

Please fix this, Anet.
