Same for me… except I made it through three crafts to 400 before I noticed the experience nerf. (6 total levels)
My guess is either:
1) Due to their new player vision, they nerfed crafting leveling for new players so that a new player couldn’t level to 40 or so right out of the gate. And the new system has “bugged” (according to them) to affect all players rather than new players.
2) They intentionally nerfed crafting leveling for all players in an attempt to increase the number of lower level players in the world – again to increase the leveling experience for new players leveling in the world. (I.e. more players to group with running around.)
In any case, very disappointing. I guess EoTM is how I’ll level now.
