Guild Wars 2

On my sylvari character on the priory affiliation, I am trying to continue with the vanilla GW2 personal story but I keep crashing on the 64bit client. The chapter is A Light In The Darkness and specifically the step in the Grove where I have to talk to the Pale Tree with Trahearne. Every time I enter the instance the game crashes, however if I use the 32bit client everything works fine.

I have not tried this on other characters with other stories or races.

As a programmer myself being on vacation and thinking about my colleague(s) on-call forced to stay in the office during Christmas holidays.. I really appreciate the help you guys put into this. Send my regards to the guys (and girls) that fixed this issue!

I did a -repair again, this fixed it for me. Duno if it helps anybody else though.

I just tried to run -repair on the game client and it did not fix my problem, unfortunately.

EDIT: And now it is working again! Probably not related to -repair but it seems to be working fine now, yay.

Did you close the browser and relaunch it after the maintenance?

If you mean the BLTC window, yes. I have also closed the game entirely and restarted it and it still happens. If you’re talking about my actual internet browser (Which shouldn’t be related to the game itself, should it?) then no as I’ve had this up for days with quite a few tabs.

I am getting the same red error when trying to sell/list my items, even though the interface does work. I also tried relogging, to no avail.
