Guild Wars 2

Title sort of says it all.

I think it’s pretty absurd that I have to wait four days after upgrading to access the Trading Post. I can understand trying to prevent fraud or market issues from farmers, but this is insane. It’s beyond frustrating that I cannot fully engage in the market to pursue things I want/need. My bank and inventory are always dangerously close to being full.

Further, it’s been 48+ hours since I bought the upgrade and I still do not have my gems. What kind of business are they running here? In what world do I need to wait over two days to get digital currency so I can buy things I want to improve my experience, such as perhaps the New Years sales? Nope, never got the gems in time.

I’m probably not the first person to come here and post about this. I’m beyond frustrated with it though. I’m trying to enjoy the game, but these delays are taking a lot of wind out of my sails. I supported the game, I expect full access and the promised rewards in a timely fashion, and frankly 48+ hours for both is not even close to reasonable to me. In all the MMOs, all the f2p and Steam games I’ve ever played, none of them have had this sort of delay on features or currency once you bought the full game or a service.
