Apparently this works, but the boss kill either never happened because everyone got logged out, or I just didn’t get anything since I was logged out. No Night event loot, no nothing.
Sigh

I was on my mesmer, hundreds of feet into the air, just dropping an egg on the Wyvern Patriarch. I had a guaranteed armour chest drop and just one piece missing from my bladed set.
And then boom! Dropped to char select.
Now I can’t even log on, I just want my boss loot… =(

Due to a lot of spam flooding and weird logon attempts on my old hotmail address, and also the purchase of a new phone I have changed the e-mail address that I normally use from hotmail to gmail, can I in some way change the address that this game uses for authorization to my new one or do I have to keep using my old one?
