Cool, thanks for the feedback
That proves that the latest nvidia driver didn’t break 3D, even though it might have broken other things. Ball is back in ANets court . . . . although since they haven’t even acknowledged this thread I’m not overly hopeful this will be fixed soon
If NVIDIA is everyone’s graphics then it may not be the fault of Anet. NVIDIA’s last game ready graphic update has caused a whole lot of problems in many games for various graphic cards.

Has anyone tried rolling back their driver to see if it fixes the issue? That would put this argument to bed one way or the other.
Daily BUMP till this gets fixed! (or at least acknowledged by ANet)
Yeah I logged in again last night and I agree its still broken. Maybe I was just in an area where I noticed it less the night before
I played last night after the latest patch and the latest nvidia driver updates; I think it is a bit better . . . but I may be wrong, I was a bit tired last night and I only played for about 20 minutes. It still wasn’t “fixed” fully, but it did seem better.
Anyone else tried it with the latest patch and nvidia update?
If you download Pingzapper (they do a free trial) it should tide you over till ANet fix the issue (if they ever do). I subscribe to Pingzapper as I seemed to get these lag spikes pretty consistently. Been using it for about a year without issue.
It was actually ANet support that suggested Pingzapper to me when lag was so bad I couldn’t log in to the Mists and had characters stuck there.
Yeah please fix this ANet!
If you turn shadows off completely it is just about playable, but the effect is lessened somewhat. 3D seems to be becoming more popular all the time as more and more people get 3D capable TV’s/Projectors/Monitors. I assume the last thing a company would want to do is drop support for this just as there is a boom in popularity!
