Ya I didn’t really think they would do anything about it and I was sure this has been brought up before just sucks that they don’t even acknowledge these things.

But if they do decide to pay attention and fix these they need to fix another thing: People putting orders for items less than the vendor price. I can’t insta sell an item when the asking price is less than the vendor price… It’s not the buyers fault cause we can’t know the vendor price for every item, but Anet needs to show them the same error as us: “You can’t put a bid less than the vendor price” or something like that.

Agree, when searching for armors its just as obnoxious… would kill for an additional filter to filter light/med/heavy armors (though I’m sure this has also been suggested elsewhere)

Please add a 4th category to the “upgrade component” section of the TP.

As it stands you go to upgrade component, you get 3 choices: All, Armor, and Weapon. Well when you select “weapon” all you see are items to upgrade accessories, rings, and amulets.

The gems/sigils for weapons don’t even show. I’m talking about gems such as garnet pebble and weapon sigils such as sigil of force. These gems/sigils should show in Weapon subcategory, not amulet/ring/accessory gems.

Basically the categories should be as follows:
1-All
2-Armor
3-Weapon (that shows sigils and all purpose gems)
4-Accessories/rings/amulets (or simply call it trinkets or something)

Now I know I can simply go on the TP and do a search for the word “Sigil”. But it still seems a little odd that the categories are messed up like this. Basically make sure weapon gems/sigils show in the weapon subcategory and just add a 4th category for the accessory/ring/amulet gems.

Glad I’m not the only one having this issue. The only logical explanation I could think of was my ISP throttling my net speed so I called and asked and they said no. I also tested it with downloading a bunch of big files (such as apps and program trails) and they worked perfect and with high speed. I also asked my brother to check his WoW account since I canceled mine, he got in the game and had no issues with lag.

This sucks

Well this may sound weird but I start lagging rather badly around night time (my time which is +4 gmt) Right now it’s 10:35pm here (server time reads 11:35am) and I’m starting to lag.

I should say that during day time (my time) there’s no lag whatsoever. I’ve contacted my ISP and they say they’re not changing anything during evening/night time. GW2 ports are forwarded on my router. I barely have any programs running in the background, the ones that are running are the same during the day so if one of them was causing the issue it would happen during the day as well.

I know this problem is isolated to me cause I’ve asked people in game if they are lagging or not (whenever I’m lagging) and the answer is no. Have asked guild members, and even 2 friends who live in the same region as me and they don’t lag when I lag.

It makes no sense and I’m at my wits end. If anyone can help me figure this out it would be great.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I tried checking latency with “resmon” command in windows and this is what it says:
3 instances of GW2.exe (dunno why 3)
1- Remote address: 206.127.159.109 – latency: 380
2- Remote address: 206.127.159.249 – Latency: between 150 and 250 (changes a lot)
3- Remote address: 64.25.47.48 – Latency: 370

No clue what this means but from experience of other online games (such as WoW) a latency of 380 was not enough to cause this amount of lag. Sometimes I press a button and the ability happens/shows a good 2-3 seconds later.

Not sure if my problem is similar to people here but ever since I started playing again 3-4 weeks ago I get crazy lag evening/night time. My timezone is +4GMT not sure if that makes a difference. I’m on EU server Ruins of Surmia, my clock which is set to server time reads 12:40pm when my time is 11:40pm. During day time I have no issues.

Also when I log in the first 15-20secs the lag is fine, it builds up over time to the point of over 5sec delays.

I’ve checked everything from router to firewall to whatever else. can’t figure out what’s causing it except server side issues. It’s really annoying

I agree 100% The AH sorting system is completely counter intuitive. For example: I search the upgrade component section and select “WEAPON” and pretty much all the results I get are components for accessory items like rings and what not.

And the whole searching for armor but not being able to narrow down the search to say heavy armor… really? I search for shoulders for example and I have to sift through a ton of unusable items until I find a few that my warrior can wear but then they have bad stats or stats I don’t want. It’s very lame.

I also second the motion for mailing items to your character when you buy stuff from the AH. “If I can shop from anywhere, I should be able to get my goods from anywhere!” – Robinsiebler

I think a LFG system would be a great idea. my warrior is lvl 40 now and it would be nice to find a group while questing or something elsewhere instead of standing outside the dungeon or in a city yelling LFG.

Someone here mentioned a LFG channel and even though someone already replied to him/her, I’d like to add my 2 cents to that. WoW tried a LFG channel. For the most part it failed. People still went to trade chat yelling LFG or LFM because not many people joined the LFG channel.

Anyway, A LFG system would be great. However, one point that can be made against it is that because the dungeons are few (6 in total i think) the devs might now feel it’s viable. But if more dungeons were added then it will be necessary to add the LFG system. I hope I’m making sense, I kinda just woke up and haven’t had coffee yet
